Handicap certificates must be shown at the pro shop to play the Championship Course.
In the absence of a handicap card, golfers are welcome to play the Par 3 Challenge Course, where no handicap restrictions apply.
Reservations:
Soma Bay is a year-round destination. Advance reservation of tee times is therefore recommended, especially during the period from September through June, the busiest of the year.
To reserve tee times, please send an e-mail with names, handicaps, whether you want to rent an electric golf cart or trolley, and also indicate the Soma Bay Resort where staying to:

(High Season from November to end of April):
Handicap 0 to 9 priority starting times 07:08 to 07:32
Handicap 0 to 24 priority starting times 07:40 to 08:28
Handicap 25 to 36 starting times 08:36 to 11:32
Guests wishing to play 9 Holes only would start at 13:00
Cancellation Policy:
The following policy applies to guests of Soma Bay Resorts:
Cancellations made less than 15 days prior to the confirmed tee time, or in the event of a no show: 100% of the applicable fees and other related charges.
Change of Tee Times:
Guests of Soma Bay Resorts may change confirmed tee time bookings without penalty subject to giving The Cascades at least 24 hours notice. However changes made within less than 24 hours of the confirmed tee time will result in a penalty of 100%). In such an event, the relevant fees will be payable in full and charged to the golfer’s room.
Payments:
All fees and other charges are booked to the guest’s hotel room (if staying within Soma Bay). They can also be charged to VISA or MasterCard credit cards.
Other:
- Duration of play should not exceed approximately 4 and a half hours over 18 Holes.
- Each player has to have his/her set of clubs. Sharing of clubs is not permitted.
- Golf Carts are not permitted in any sandy areas or past any red/white lines approaching the greens, and must stay on pathways where provided.
- Slow golfers must allow others to play through.
- The Cascades Golf Resort & Country Club does not accept claims and is not liable for any injury or accidents suffered by golfers.
