Abu Soma Development Company (ASDC) has over the past 16 years been developing the Soma Bay site on Egypt's Red Sea Coast now known a new premium tourist destination. The project currently has 5 operating hotels with a combined capacity of over 2800 beds.

The Company also owns and operates a number of central facilities servicing the hotels, their guests and other members of the Soma Bay community. These facilities include, among others, a central Utility Center and related distribution network, providing electricity, potable water and waste water collection and treatment, to all Soma Bay residents, a central laundry facility, a world class golf complex designed by Gary Player, a Marina and its related commercial and shopping center, a kite surf center, and a variety of housing units which are either rented or offered for sale.
